PANDA HOME DAYCARE
I'm an energetic, loving and creative mom of an animated 4 year old girl. I fulfilled a career goal when I opened my home daycare 3.5 years ago. With over 15 years experience in childcare, including growing up in a home daycare. I started my own "babysitting" business at age 12. I have worked in a number of elementary schools and daycares both public and private. As well as 5 years of post secondary education in child development, (BA @ UWO & CYW@ Fanshawe). I enjoy playing, interacting and caring for children. I truly love my job and the children I spend my day with.
We have a large front and backyard on a quiet street in Hespeler. Very close to Hillcreast and Our lady of Fatima school, library, multiple parks, wooded trails, river and quick 401 and highway 24 access. We have a finished walk out basement full of toys and activities, set up for the purpose of daycare. We do make use of the entire house. Our daycare is pet free, smoke free, police checked, child service checked, fully insured. We are a legal home daycare, following the guidelines of the Day Nursery Act and will continue to do so when Bill 10 comes into effect.
My reasonable rates include healthy snacks and lunches with occasional treats (we are kids after all!) Daily log books and receipts. No charge home, sick and vacation days. Teachers welcome, pay per visit summers. Our busy day includes, but is not limited to, circle time (songs & role play), weekly planned themes, crafts, baking, daily outdoor time, adventure walks, imaginative play and plenty of friendship and love.
AVAILABLE POSITIONS
TWO full-time position (4-5 days) Monday to Friday - available start date any where from July 1st through mid September
Please note I am also looking to fill a Maternity leave spot (one) (returning March '16) so don't be shy if you are hoping to add to your family immediately and will only require care for a few months while you return to work.
I do NOT do pick up and drop off at any school.
My hours are 7:30am to 5:15pm with notice I am flexible.
