I have been doing childcare for approximately 14 years now. I have two children 18 yr old son (who doesn't live at home now) and a 15 yr old daughter who is in grade 10. I have been home with my children as they grew and found that caring for other children with my own was a wonderful benefit for all of us.
I enjoy working with children and experiencing new challenges together. The amazement of new things these children receive everyday is a reward to them and myself , whether it is through reading stories or playing or through a movie. We like to go for walks in our neighbourhood, playing and picnics at the neighbourhood park. I like to give the children healthy meals and snacks but once a week we get a treat (timbits, cake) I do a daily journal for each child in my care so that when they go home mom and dad can read about their day. I find this a great way to communicate with each other , do to home time being a very busy time for everyone. I do crafts with the children, celebrate most holidays and birthdays with the children. I have had a great group of children that start when mom goes back to work .
Admission conditions
Must love dogs we have a West Highland Terrier, who thinks that she is one of the children, enjoy other children , enjoy playing outside whether it is sunny or snowy. The children I have, travel from Angus and Letitia Heights their parents are commuters and find that we are in a great location for drop off and pick up on their way to work
