Riverview Child Care is a Licenced In Home Multi Age Orogram operated by Deidre Price, Early Childhood Educator.
In 2011 I completed a Certificate in Early Childhood Education from Northern Lights College. In some way I have almost always worked with children; Science World Camp-in Program, as a Park Interpreter, Bear Aware Coordinator, and as an After School Care worker. For three years (2004-2007) I offered License not required care for one family with two young children. In 2009 I started work as the Headstart Supervisor for the School District. I managed the Headstart (preschool) program until moving to Castlegar in Summer of 2011. Sonce moving to Castlegar I have been a sub at Clueberry Creek Community School in the Daycare, preschool and Strong Start. I have a current Emergency Childcare First Aid Certificate and have completed additional courses in Speech & Language, Family Childcare and Crisis Intervention.
