My name is Shaydey Elliot and I run a home childcare located in Cambridge, Ontario. I am a graduate of the Early Childhood Education program (2008) and have 15 years experience working in the childcare field. I have been running a home daycare for 4 years and before that I was employed as a nanny for several years.
I have 1 daughter born May 2015 and a second child due May 2019. My daughter is great with the daycare children and loves spending time with them. She has been around other children since she was 2 weeks old and is a gentle loving child.
I am willing to care for children if temporary care is needed or provide before/after school care for Silver Heights PS. My daughter will be starting her first year there in September 2019.
I currently have two full-time childcare positions for 2 years or older available end of June/beginning of July. Earlier starts are available but I will be unavailable for a month at the end of May to give birth to my second child.
My main hours are Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5:30pm. Hours can be negotiated and can change depending on what care is needed.
About the childcare:
- Fun, loving, and safe environment
- Childcare is only on main floor of house
- No tv in playroom (occasional movies/shows are played in basement)
- Daily walks/outdoor time weather permitting
- Fenced in backyard available for outdoor play
- Indoor/outdoor toys for play and learning through play provided
- Park behind house (5 min walk) for outdoor time
- Craft supplies provided
- Breakfast, lunch, and 2 snacks provided (before/after school will be different)
- Smoke-free home
- No Cats or Dogs in the home
- Receipts provided for each payment
