I have one part-time space available in my established home daycare in Stirling, Ontario! I am licensed through Little Lambs Home Daycare Agency and subsidy is available.
I have 4 children (10,9,6 & 3), with my older 3 children in school full-time. They have grown up "sharing" me and our home with daycare children and are eager to meet another friend!
Our new home has a very large, fully fenced backyard for outside play. Our daycare playroom is on the main floor of my home, and it is bright, cheerful, and full of fun toys, games, and activities! Separate nap space is available for each child, and the children have full use of my main bathroom, kitchen, and dining and living rooms as well.
My program focuses on being outside as much as possible, weather permitting, and having very little screen time. The TV is only used for older children during naptime, or for an occasional rainy day movie. I encourage child-led activities, and base our schedule on what my particular groups' interests are, whether that be craft time, baking, story time, songs, and more. We enjoy trips to the local library, playgrounds, playgroups, and parks daily as much as we can.
I serve healthy, balanced meals and snacks, including milk with lunch every day and fresh fruits and veggies for snacks. I am experienced dealing with allergies and special diets; please feel free to contact me to see if accommodating your child's dietary restrictions is possible. I do as much home-cooking for meals as I can, and encourage the children to try new foods on a regular basis.
My home is completely smoke-free, pet-free and baby-proofed for safety.
I am fully compliant with the new Ontario home daycare laws and as such, can currently only accommodate a child over age 2. If you would like to be put on my waiting list for an infant space, please contact me!
