I am a certified teacher who decided to open a home daycare to spend more time with my own children. I have two daughters, one starting grade 3 in the fall and the other will be 4 in February. The daycare has a dedicated playroom with a large outdoor fenced in yard. We are close to parks and the local school. Homemade lunches and nutritious snacks will be provided.
The focus of the daycare will be play based learning. Children are encouraged to explore and inquire through play. We have lots of toys both inside and out. My daughters and I have a love for the outdoors so we will try to spend as much time out in the backyard or at the local parks. Inside there are plenty of toys to play with, games to play and books to read. We frequently visit the library so there are always new books on the shelves. The children are also encouraged to be creative either through song and dance or arts and crafts.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or need anymore information.
