I am a mother of 5 beautiful children. After working in the health and management industry for 20 years I decided to dedicate my time to what I love most in life - children. I ran a home daycare in Toronto for 5 years and the. After our move to the country and after having our last little one I decided to go back to what I love the most - providing little ones with the best start in life in a healthy and loving environment.
I am also fully certified in first aid and CPR.
My home daycare is home away from home. I provide a safe, happy environment for your child to grow up in. I believe we are what we eat and therefore only provide organic, nutritious, homemade foods. As part of my care i provide breakfast, lunch and a morning and afternoon snack. Every week the menu is posted on my white board so you're aware of all the meals your child will eat when here.
The day of activities would include: free time (rotating through activities such as puzzles, games, and playing with the various toys), reading time on the mat, music, art (painting and drawing). I love the outdoors and make it a point to get out and have some fresh air every day (weather permitting).
As part of our activities I focus towards their development and learning stages. Whether they're learning their numbers or the alphabet, parts of their body or animals - I encourage that through our story times, songs and arts and crafts. Children learn best through hands on learning and repetition.
Have peace of mind knowing you're little one is growing up and learning in a nurturing and healthy environment.
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
