Childcare provider: Janice

I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"We happened to meet Janice by accident while visiting the Mall. Our daughter had decided that she wanted to take Janice's daughter's cart while in the Levi's store. She was calm, patient, caring, and very warm while dealing with our little one. It just felt RIGHT from the very beginning. She explained she owned a day care, and actually had a spot coming up in a few months.

We visited a few other day-cares, some large, and some home based but none of them made me feel like my daughter was going to get what she gets at home. We took Janice up on her upcoming availability (a couple of the children were graduating and going onto school.) and we couldn't be happier.

Janice's home day care is a home away from home for our little girl. She treats the little ones as if they are her own, and her own daughters and family come and help out. At this point, I can't imagine leaving my little one with anyone else. Janice welcomes the children with complete openness. She provides healthy food, an amazing environment for the kids to learn, daily activities outside and going for walks.

A testament to this is most days I come to pick up my daughter and she wants to stay there. She's developed close relationships with everyone there and I feel completely safe with her in Janice's care."

I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"Our son went to Happy Cheeks Daycare with Janice from when he was 15 months to 2.5 years old. The only reason we recently had to leave Janice's care is because of moving out of province, otherwise we would've kept him there until he started school for sure.

Janice is a wonderful daycare provider that is passionate, positive, energetic, creative and loving towards the kids. Her home-based daycare was the perfect environment for our son to learn to socialize, develop and improve skills, to have fun and be creative. She provides nutritious foods, a clean and safe place inside and out in the backyard amd we liked that she took the kids to a nearby park to play and have picnics. She is very diligent when any of the kids developed symptoms of any sickness to limit the potential for others becoming sick.

If absolutely necessary, Janice's husband Alex helps out in emergencies (he gets along with the kids well) and also has her oldest daughter (a young teen with babysitter and first aid training) to help out every now and then. She's also a great babysitter to hire - our son loved her!

We will really miss having Janice as our son's daycare provider and only hope that we can find a daycare near our new home that will care for our son as wonderfully as Janice did."

"Happy Cheeks Daycare is a fantastic daycare! Janice is so great with my daughter Lily. She teaches her so much. When Lily first began she was 15 months old and just learning how to walk. Lily learned very quickly to keep up with the other children at the daycare within the month she was walking. Janice encouraged Lily to walk and they practiced daily. Now Lily is starting to learn how to use the potty. She understands a great deal. She has learned her colours and numbers. She is also saying full sentences. Her doctor was very pleased at her 18 month appointment and said she is quite advanced for her age. I believe Janice has helped a great deal in her development. She is very reliable and trust worthy. My husband and I highly recommend this daycare."
