This Family Child Care offers a safe and positive, nurturing experience for children in home-like settings. Our program includes activities and experiences in which each child has the opportunity to learn through play - this way they can develop their skills and expand their knowledge, learn about the world and most importantly, have Fun!
The program is designed for smaller groups - ages 1 to 5 and is implemented by a qualified and licensed Early Childhood Educator
We offer a full day program which contains:
Music/Dance/Arts/Crafts
Group time (books, storytelling)
Dramatic play/Science
Indoor/Outdoor play/Field trips
Nutritious home cooked lunch and snacks

Since children's behavior is influenced by their development, their environment and the adults around them, I believe that children should be guided by positive examples such as:
- treating children with respect and enjoying their company,
- praising their efforts, modeling kindness and patience,
- using calm and helpful language,
- setting clear and age-appropriate limits,
- taking time to teach those limits,
- offering choices,
- teaching children what to do rather than what NOT to do,
- teaching children to solve problems with words,
- understanding that children's misbehavior is normal and natural and - FOCUSING on the child's behavior rather than on the child him/herself.
