I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"You will not find better childcare anywhere than at Rainbow kids with Zanka and her husband Miki. They provided the most wonderful, nurturing and loving environment for our son, who was with them from 10 months to 3.5 years. Over the years they became like grandparents to him and part of our family. The program is a great balance between structured activities (including early literacy skills) and free play, and the children go outdoors on walks to the park, to community centre activities, or to the library every day, rain or shine. They also take the children to the symphony and other special events from time to time. The small size of the group allows the kids to have individualized attention at all times, while fostering their independence. It was the perfect option for our son and so much better than a large institutional group setting. Rainbow kids also provides healthy, homemade food that the kids love. Our son would gobble up Zanka's spinach pies and bean stew - stuff that he would never touch at home! I can unequivocally recommend Rainbow kids to prospective parents, if you're lucky enough that they have a spot available!"

"Our children attended Rainbow Kids Family Daycare for almost 6 years. Over the years we have seen Zanka connect with children of all ages/personalities and their families. We have been amazed at the accommodations she has been able to make; enabling new children feel welcome whilst extending those near ready for school. There is a concerted effort to foster each child’s interests and strengths. At work, I was always secure in the knowledge that they were safe, happy & well cared for. Our children always wanted to go to day care and to stay right to the end of the day. Zanka's exceptional skill and love of learning,combined with the wide variety of experiences that she exposed them to during those years, gave them a strong foundation and varied perspective from which to enjoy life."
