There will be a part time space available in September in my well established, centrally located, cozy, loving, clean, safe, smoke-free, happy, healthy, active daycare. (M,T,Th,F) I am a young grandmother with many years of childcare experience. My CPR/first aid is always up to date and I have a background in Guiding/Scouting and medical training. Our meals include fresh food and a balanced, home cooked menu. Breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks are served.
We are close to parks, one with playground equipment. We attend the festivals at Victoria Park all summer, and find it a wonderful place to enjoy the changing seasons. My program includes outdoor and indoor activities and my quarterly newsletters to parents list our themes for learning, crafting and field trip purposes. We travel to the Central Library once a week for storytime and playtime mornings. We have playgroup meetings with other home daycares, visit inside playgroups and a splashpad in the summer.
We follow a daily routine, but flexibility is key. My daycare hours of business are 8:00am to 5pm. My current families will be happy to serve as references to tell you how the parents and I have worked together to help their children thrive and grow.
