Nature Discovery is a Montessori based child care where the children are given opportunity to learn in a family-like setting rather than a classroom. I provide services to families who require care during the school year. The children will learn to interact with different age groups, feel safe and loved and can begin to build their positive self-image. Your child will have the opportunity to gain practice in language, fine motor, large motor and self help skills, enjoy local field trips as well as receive positive care in a warm loving home.
Food and nutrition is a very important part of our day and we specialize in good quality home made non-processed food. We encourage children to explore different grains, vegetables and fruits (organic when possible) and offer a wide variety of healthy options at each meal. We also are happy to cater to families with children who are gluten, dairy and egg intolerant as well as peanut allergies.
Our home includes a bright and spacious main floor playroom, with big windows at "kid" level. We have also added a brand new play structure suited to the 2-5 age group. The play structure also includes an approved "fall zone" as set out by licensing standards. Our location also backs onto a walking trail with a fenced off pond so that we can enjoy watching the ducks and water fowl safely. We are very excited to have found a home that will suit our daycare so well!
