I am an experienced, educated, responsible and loving mother of 2 boys (10 months and 4 &1/2 years) offering care in my home in Riverton. I can provide pick up/drop off in the New Glasgow, Stellarton, Riverton, Eureka or Hopewell areas if needed. I provide a loving home and routine based environment.
I take caring for children very seriously and I take a very active role in my children's lives and all of the children I have looked after in the past. I am looking to take one more child between the ages of 9 months and 3 years. There will never be a ratio greater than 4:1 because I want to give the best care possible. The ratio will be 3:1 more than 1/2 of the time.
I will treat your child with the love and respect that I give my own. I supply a safe, worry free, fun and educational home to take your child to.
We have several daily story times, craft/art time, circle time, music/movement time, outdoor playtime, lots of free play time and nap time. We also attend a playgroup in New Glasgow 2 -3 days per week and go on field trips to the library, parks etc. quite often.
I have a University Degree in Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University and have previously owned a licenced daycare in my home in B.C. I also spent 5 years working for the RCMP Detachment in Dawson Creek, B.C. I have taken numerous CPR and First aid courses over the years for both adults and children.
I have a spacious, smoke free, child friendly home with a large yard, climbing structures, slides, sand and picnic tables and swings. Our house is private and away from the road. We have a playroom on the main floor and the 2nd floor and enough bedrooms for all children to have there own space for nap time.
I provide nutritious snacks and lunches daily.
