HELLO!
I am a fully bilingual mother of two wonderful children (boy and girl).
I am looking to offer childcare in my home, for 3 days a week Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. There may be a possibility of before and after school.
Location:
I am located in Bells corners which is in the west end of Ottawa - near main bus routes, minutes from the 417. It is also very accessible for someone living in the west end of Ottawa or in the out-lying areas. I am also minutes from schools in bells corners.
A bit about myself:
I absolutely love children. This is why I can offer your children a safe, very loving and nurturing environment with many opportunities to experience new and exciting things. I am energetic, compassionate, positive person dedicated to impart on them as much zest and appreciation for life, while managing to make it into a fun and stimulating learning experience. Knowledge is fun!!
I have lived in Ottawa proper for over 16 years I was born and raised just 50 minutes east. Ottawa is a wonderful place to raise children.

Food:
I am a firm believer of great, healthy cooking snacks and lunch will be very nutritious, lots of fresh, home-made items, with emphasis on incorporating parts of the Canadian food guide.
Daily activities:
- All activities will be need/age/developmentally appropriate. - Lots of focus on reading, music, language, arts, imagination/creative play, outdoors/active play, help to reach milestones for the little ones!
- Structured activities (themed subjects, craft, circle time, songs, music, reading, helping foster childs development, preparing for school - early skills, learning about our environment, baking, gardening)
Outings (depending on child and parent comfort) activities provided by the childcare providers resource network, library, animal farms, parks, splash parks, nature trails, museums, apple picking, pumpkin patch, and much more
Low/no TV
Other opportunities:
- For child to learn or improve or to be cared for in French
- For child to learn baby/toddler sign language very helpful in communicating
- Other opportunities to meet up with other children
