Hi there my name is Emma. I am 28 yrs old. I live on the salisbury back road in colpitts settlement. I have grown up all my life around children. I have helped take care of my step brother and my sister and was the baby sitter for all our friends and family.
I love children and loving spending time with them. I love playing games and doing crafts with the lil ones and watching them learn. there is nothing like viewing the world through a childs eyes
I was a security officer licensed through the department of justice in nova scotia for 4 yrs until 2005. i have had background checks which have come clean and i have never been in trouble with the law.
I have helped families with lil ones from all ages. I have even helped with potty training. Taught children thier numbers and abcs.
I believe that children do not need to spend all thier day infront of a tv. While in my care your children will have game time and craft time. they will learn songs and rhymes. Here we make learning fun and easier to learn.
i make sure that the house and yard are safe for the children. i make sure that anything the kids can get into or hurt on is picked up. our floors are swept twice a day to make sure that the lil ones who crawl or play on the floor dont get into anything they shouldnt. i clean the bathroom and mop the floors every second day.
all the toys, toy bins, playpens and blankets are washed daily. blankets are for the children only. we have sippy cups and other dishes that are washed daily in the dishwasher.
while outside the children are accompanied by my self. to make sure that they dont get hurt etc.
We have a small puppy who is good with the children. he also loves to play. he is very well behaved as well.
my grandmother is here daily. i stay home to help her as she has fallen alot, on fridays my fiance is here as well and is also very good with the children.
