Question regarding subsidy.

Hello, I just opened a daycare last month, and have recently been asked if I take subsidy. I'm not even sure how subsidy works. From what I've read on this forum, a daycare provider must be part of an agency to be able to take subsidy. Is this correct? (I'm in Ontario btw). If so, would that mean an agency like WeeWatch?

In Ontario you have to work through an agency such as you mention Wee Watch in order to take subsidy. The money goes to the agency and the parents pay the agency the balance and you will get your regular pay through the agency.
