Newbie DCD wanting to come at naptime to pick up

Signed a new DCF. They started this week. Obviously DCD did not read my contract stating that there are NO pick-ups between the hours of 1 - 3pm. This is nap time. He called at 2:30 saying he was coming in 5min to pick up DCB. DCB is sound asleep after a very busy and active morning. So our all my other DCK's. And I have a splitting headache, so I am getting some much needed rest from a very busy morning filled with crafts, songs, dancing, sensory play, lunch, etc. you know the drill.

So I remind him that there are NO pick ups between 1 - 3pm. This is nap time. So he says "Okay...I come at 3:00" and hangs up. SERIOUSLY?? Are you that clueless? Right at 3:00? Not say 3:05 or 3:15....So this DCB crys when he wakes up. Very loud. He will wake up everyone at the same time. Ugh.

DCD is going to get DCB in a full, wet diaper. I'm literally going to get him from his sleep as soon as DCD gets here. Hand him over and tell him to dress him outside as my other DCK's are still resting!

Then I'm going to remind him to re-read his contract. :no:

Glad you asked Crayola...Well...DCD shows up at 3:06 (yeah, I'm anal, I actually checked my phone when he came to the door). I opened it before he could ring the bell. I greeted him and went to get DCB out of his pack 'n play. DCB just woke up and was startled but I quickly picked him up and brought him to DCD. I reminded him that he needs to let me know in the morning if he is doing an early pick up so that I may have DCB ready. I let him know that DCB has a very wet diaper (it was quite full) and that he cannot change him now as the children are still napping and DCB was on the verge of tears. (of course, who likes to be plucked up with sleep still in their eyes and just woken up and getting coat, shoes, etc on).

DCD seemed indifferent, maybe annoyed that he had to wait an extra 20 min or so to get DCB. Too bad. I reminded him to please read my contract concerning any other policies. He left and forgot (or left behind) DCB's artwork and Christmas craft. I'm not getting a good fuzzy warm feeling from this DCD. The mom is great so far. DCD is cold. This is the same dad that did not even acknowledge his son with a smile or hug or anything.

I have a dcm who over the last two days has texted me to see if she could come during quiet time. Both times I said yes, only because the kids went down early and were already up. But she would have gone shopping if I had said no.

I tell parents in the interview, that if they wake the kids up, they have to get them quiet again. When the parents laugh I just look at them and as "I am not joking, you will have to nicely get them quiet and back to sleep"

That seems very odd, kind of rude and selfish and you need to be strict with this parent starting now. Put your foot down, no means no. Why do some parents behave worse than the children? I advise parents not to pick up their children until after 3:30 as well because they sleep until 2:45 or 3:00 then there are the diaper changes and snacktime and I'm super busy for that half hour so adding in a pickup is not easy.
