Flexcare
Hi,
Anyone here use CoverMe/Flexcare health plan? It looks really great and affordable and I know if you own your own business you can right most of it off if not all. Anyone use it and have any problems occure? We need to get a plan ASAP as we are currently not covered and it freaks me out not have health Insurance. Any advice would be greatly appeciated.

My daughter has looked at this plan too. She is in the same situation of being self employed (music therapist) and works on contracts so not covered by any of the places she gives services to. She is also looking at the plan that can be added to her insurance through cooperators but hasn't made a decision. Interested in opinions too.

I have it and no problems what so ever.
and trust me. I have been doing invitro and they paid all my meds so far and whatever isnt covered (i am in quebec)
We have claimed a whole bunch so far, they, obviously asked to see my medical records after claiming so much, but every thing worked out perfect
good luck

My ex had this plan cause he was self employed ~ my only 'beware' is that his plan did not cover any 'pre~existing' conditions so when he had his medical before getting approved to go on it he had a 'skin rash' on his hands due to the job he had using harsh chemicals and therefore they would not cover anything 'skin related' for him even in areas that were not his HANDS ... so for example he got the chicken pox at 40 years old and they would not cover the medication for it because it was 'skin related' and had a pre existing skin condition .... DUMB cause it was clearly not related ... so if you or your family have 'pre existing' medical conditions double check if they will be covered or not or what 'else' you get later that might not be covered as a result of that preexisting condition.
