I have an interview this week for M-W full day care. They will be considered "permanent" part time, because those days are guaranteed for them. We discussed the p/t daily rate, they are good with it (times two, actually, for two kiddos).
But what about stats?? Considering so many of them fall on Mondays.
My full time fee includes stats, paid, and I am closed. All my previous part timers would never schedule on stats, so it was never an issue.
Do I charge a different rate each month, based on days actually used? I am a little concerned that this will open it up to not paying for sick days (theirs) and holidays. The whole purpose of having a "permanent" p/t position is that guaranteed income for me.
What do you think?
