Going to be a long week!
so it is march break this week, day 1, and i am already ready to pull my hair out! lol no its just going to be a long week...usually on monday i have 3 dck and my son...today i have 3 dck, my son, my daughter and 2 dck i do school run with....ages 19 months- 6yrs! its been raining all day so that put a damper on any outside time....we did some crafts but the older ones just have so much energy today they are driving me up the wall! i do have quite a few activities and events planned this weeks so it should go welll.....hoping this week flies by!

Oh do I ever feel your pain!!! I don't have school aged dck's but my 4.5 year old son is home this week from school and after half a day I am already tearing my hair out! He is like a mini tornado ripping around and around the room causing problem after problem...everything is relatively calm when he is not here. This just reaffirms my decision not to do before and after care...I think I would be in an insane asylum if I had two of him! I love him dearly, but he has way too much energy and chooses to use it in a very annoying way :( Four more days...we can do it!

thanks sunnydays! i have been taking these sa's for quite a while and they are very well-behaved but i dont think i realized...an hour at my house after school is not equivalent to 8 hours all day! good luck to you too, i am hoping for some nice weather tomorrow to burn off some of this energy :)

Ugh today has been awful. I actually have less kids - only 3 DCK and my own 2 who are home from school. Normally I would have had 5 DCK today.
I think that everyone was grumpy and exhausted this morning because of the time change. No one is saying a peep about waking yet whereas usually they wake up by now.
I hope that the rest of the week will be better.
I was dragging this morning - felt like I was getting up at midnight and one look at the DCks arriving and they looked as exhausted as I felt. lol

My b&a kid is away this week. so nice not having him.
one dcg showed up with out snow pants and the other dcg with only thin wind pants. My husband took our oldest out for most of the day. the kids are sleeping longer then normal.
so over all I am having a not so bad day.

I only have one extra school kid this week for march break and by lunch time I was ready for Friday at 530pm. She is 6 and today I have my son who is 19 months and her sister who is 2, so keeping her occupied for the week will be challenging. On Wednesday I have two more 2 years old back so keeping her occupied will be difficult. It's raining here today so we can't go outside . Quite time she is playing Disney junior games on the computer. We did craft this morning. Not sure what else to do with her. Thursday we are going to Little Rays Reptile Show. Did I mention I miss my quite time and its only day one :(
Hang in there everyone only 4 more days left!

today was much better...we did finger painting and played playdoh this morning....the older kids were really excited to show the little ones how to do it "right" so that was good....good lunch and now they are making paper airplanes lol

My day has been much better today too, despite the rain and being stuck inside. My son has been behaving himself much better and we did some activities inside. Naptime is a bit of a struggle as he rarely naps anymore, but we are almost finished day two...three more to go ;)

dcm just called to tell me sa's grandparents are going to take them for the day tomorrow.....so i will only have 2 dck and my own 2.....hmm going to try and plan a fun outing for them tomorrow...hope the weather cooperates! glad your day is going well sunnydays, hope your son naps for you

Is it just me or are the kids really crabby these days since the time change? The mornings are a total cry/whine/fight fest with my group since they arrived yesterday.
