Wow what a difference
So dcg has now been gone for a week and it has changed everything but surprisingly for the better :) My son now plays independently and has no one to fight with over toys and the house is much quieter plus both parents I have now are great and very appreciative of what I do and tell me often how thankful they are I think I have the perfect families now and group of kids........HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY

Good for you mommylove !! I never realised just how much one family drained me until they were gone.

I am happy for you mommylove. I hope you find a great family soon to replace them.

I'm in the same boat. I terminated a family that I kept on for a year and a half until I absolutely couldn't take it any more. The other children are much happier and never even mention the terminated child after being with him all that time! It's because they are as relieved as I am that he is gone. Crazy, huh? I learned that termination has to be done and it has to be done within the first few months. We should NOT torture ourselves!

Happy for you!
Same thing's just happened here. I terminated a dck because he was constantly hurting the other children, and melting down, throwing things if someone looked at him sideways. I can't even begin to explain how much better things are since he's been gone.
