Older peg triple-do the seats come out?

Does anyone here know -

I've found a lead on an used, older model peg perego triple, and I need a triple or quad desperately, as mine just broke. The price is right and it's only an hour away...but the person selling it doesn't think the seats come out to fold the frame down, and I don't know how a) it would fit in our van to get it home, and b) how I would store it, as we have a townhouse with a teeny front hall - the stroller needs to fold!

Does anyone have an older model peg triple where the seats DON'T come out? Is this a possibility?
