I feel like I've done all of the regular picture fames/handprints/decorate a flower pot etc as Mother's day presents in previous years. Any suggestions for something a bit more unique and not too pricey that the kids can do? Thanks in advance.

Not sure if you've done this one already, but I'm going to have the kids make paper mache bowls and then paint them. I saw it on Pinterest, (of course), and thought it was the cutest thing. I real keepsake!
Last year the kids made homemade scented bath salts as the mother's day present. I was easy, and I put it in glass jars from the dollar store after they were done mixing it. They also decorated the labels that I put on the outside of the jars.
We are making dyed macaroni necklaces with a bouquet of "flowers" made from painted muffin liners and pipe cleaners :)
I haven't decided yet either.
Thinking decorated plates, tea towels, oven mitts, wine glasses....or maybe something else. Will look on Pinterest today so I can get my supplies this weekend
Just decided...I am making string flowers this year.
