Do you warm bottles for the 12 month olds?
Don't usually do this, but parent insists.
Do you use hot water in a bowl or a warmer?
Looking for quick and easy. Thanks.

Cow milk? If I'm warming milk, I do it in the microwave. In a separate container, usually a mug, stir and pour into the bottle/sippy. Never had a problem doing this, always testing before giving it. I don't think there is anything wrong with warming at 12 months, and then you can slowly wean the child onto cold milk yourself over the next couple of months.
Just out of curiosity, do you know why is the parent insisting? Is it a digestion issue or just a "we do it at home, so you have too also," kind of thing?
yes i heat them one at a time in the micro for about 33 sec to 66 sec depending on the bottle size
some parents say cold is fine some ask to heat up
I also ask the parents how they like to reheat the bottle at home just so I know
I think it is done regularly at home, so not a specific digestive issue.
I have a bottle warmer. I find it so much easier
I warm them. I just pitch the whole bottle in the microwave :p
For formula I scoop the powder and add warm tap water
Always check temp on inner wrist before serving.
It's been years since I've had to do this but at centres we were told the safest way to do so was to put the bottle in a container of hot water. I have tall cups so that's all I would do. I'd leave the cup in the sink and just toss bottle in it for a few minutes
