I email them out after the interview, but we discuss the main ones at the interview. I have tried emailing them ahead of time and found it worked against me...they hadn't yet come and met me and seen how wonderful my daycare is, so they got hung up on things like paid vacation days for me...then cancelled the interview! Now I wait until they have been to see my daycare :)

After a few emails back and forth, I will email them my manual to look over, as there's key points in there.
IF they are still interested after reading through, I invite them over for an interview. DURING the interview, I ask if they have any questions when they read my manual, and if (especially if they don't), I go through it page by page - to ween them out even more!
IF I'm interested in having them in my care, I will email them back to pay for the space, and come over to sign the papers/manual/contract.

I had the same experience Sunnydays. By the time they realized what I had in my contract was the norm they had done enough interviews I am assuming they just picked one of them and never looked back to the first contacts they made. Not once have I signed on a family that I emailed a contract to.
