Of course !! Last year we had snow 8 out of 12 months !
Oh my goodness...you mentioned snow and all of the sudden my day here in sunny Ontario (crying and all) seems a lot brighter;)
Well my Monday is the same as the weather blah !!! Wish I stayed in bed !! It's been a horrid day

I tell mine at interview to be quick at drop off and pick up. I also tell them that if they are hanging around and confusing/upsetting/stressing out their child, I will politely force them out the door and close it.
I've been thinking of sending a letter home with new clients giving tips on what to do and not do when transitioning their child to a new daycare.
I usually go over drop offs in my interview , I have offered and sent texts with pics of a happy child moments after mom leaves , to reassure that usually if crying occurs it may last a couple of minutes . I think it's just one of those gray areas , it's their children , and it's also my dayhome . I usually try to get parents out the door quickly but if there is days when they are here abit I try not to let it get in the way of my day .!

Ugh! that's rude! Can you email them and give some ideas to ease transitioning? Like say good-bye quickly and DON'T come back for just one more kiss etc.?
Yes, I emailed Mom and today was a quick drop and run. Not that it helped...poor thing cried all day when not held. Not eating or drinking either:(. Communicating all of this to Mom daily.Quote:
