That sounds like a great day!! I think I need one of those days. Now that it's Fall, our weekends are getting a bit less busy. We have two weekends planned this month and than two in November but I think that's it for awhile! Take out and a movie in bed is muchly needed lol.
Tonight I had my weekly date with a friend and we watched SOA. That always helps to talk to her so it was a good visit. I cried (for a different reason) and had a good deep discussion. I'm now wide awake though LOL
As long as youre happy with your income and the set up, life is good!! It's good to be able to recognize when we have what we want!

Yes it is definitely needed some weeks!
My stupid headache is lingering still. At some points it's quite painful and other times it's just a dull throb. Annoying and making me grouchy!
I did manage to decorate the daycare a bit today with leaves and pumpkins and started a Christmas gift project ( for personal use) while they free played. I'm hoping naptime goes smoothly today! The Chinese boy is still doing well but only naps an hour and than wakes up. He usually naps another hour but sometimes won't unless I'm in the room with him.

I can't stand headaches !!! I don't suffer from headaches very often thankfully and can not imagine doing my dayhome while suffering from one ! Ugh !!
I haven't started fall decorating yet ! I'm packing away summer toys and furniture and getting my dayhome ready for fall by painting ect . I saw the most beautiful playroom all done in hardwood , white and light green !!! Soo nice !! I used the primary colours in mine and although I really like it ..... Lol

Your little guy sounds like he is quite comfortable !! Yay !! I'm transitioning a sibling family of 3 and sometimes feel like a juggling clown trying to find their interests and likes !! TV seems to be it ! Ugh so all morning I'm showing them how to play , pulling out crafts ect and today I set a timer and made them play for 10 min with something !! I have all the usual girl toys but they want to lay with a blanket and watch tv !!! So happy times here !!!

You are not the only one who suffers from playroom envy. I have a decent size playroom, and I still wish it was bigger. I want to do so much with it, but my husband would not be impressed if the playroom got a makeover twice, before we even get a chance to tackle other projects.

Lol my dh just smiles ! He's given up ! I want my playroom to look professional ! I have a preschool magazine and I have picked out my dream room lol ! But too much $$$$!

I have redone my house and backyard and playroom but now have been redoing playroom !

I have huge playroom envy LOL. I love that my basement is a mini apartment and it works great for daycare purposes but I would love a larger playroom.
My husband is not so carefree and "do whatever you want" so I am stuck with limited ideas LOL. He just redid the basement before I took it over and he doesn't want to redo it again....what a party pooper!! ;)

Lol !!! Mine isn't happy about it either ! But he is pretty easy going !!! The kids arrived today and couldn't get over everything stripped !! Lol I'm painting Saturday night !!
My basement is shaped like a backwards , square p , I have a bedroom for sleeping room , bathroom , 2 bedrooms but wish for a kitchen !!!! Would be soo much easier . I have my assistant every day so there is two of us so I can go upstairs and make lunch but would love to be self contained !!!

That will be exciting!! Just to prove me wrong he tells me today that if I want to paint the daycare I can! I'd rather get my upstairs kitchen painted first though lol
I like having everything down here but I'd prefer a larger open basement.

Lol !!! i love painting and decorating !! I have done a few friends houses and was thinking of going into business,but at this stage ,having a 6 yr old I want to spend as much time with her !! I am just finishing her room and LOVE putting it all together !!! She is into horses and it has taken me about 8 months to find the right decorations ect I found a lady who does silhouettes of horses on wooden barn slats !! I am hoping to go to Calgary next weekend to pick up her cow skin rug !! I am driving everyone crazy here because really no one cares lol !!
