You have definitely been patient!
My SIL calls all her kids names (she thinks to be funny/affectionate) but I find it really horrible. She calls her one kid "Dumbo" because she said he has big ears (he so doesn't but let's give him an issue with them!), she would always tell her other boy that he has ADHD etc etc. I'm not usually around to hear it but I hear about it from my mom/siblings.
I admit...I tell my girl she is being a weirdo and funny, and a monkey. I also ask questions about the other kids (more because I like to understand there personalities). I too may be an annoying DC mom. Food for thought for me.
As for the couple that seem to be comparing...they are...and it is because they have low parent self esteem. I imagine this is their first child? Let's just hope they have more so you get more business, and they are far too busy to keep track of what the 'Jones' are doing. LOL
