Yup, the only reason I thought that was because the last child here who had HFM, didn't have any in his mouth or on his hands and feet. Wrists and face though. These were the ones I saw first. This child drooled all day long so at first I thought it was from that, then he bent over one day, I could see under his shirt and they were all up his back too, and so I checked him all over and they were on his bum and legs too.
If the OP's spots aren't crusty, though, it might not be HFM.
