Be careful that our actions/inactions aren't what is causing the friction between our roles as mother and daycare provider.

It's weird but I never did it last year? I have no idea why? I was really new to all this last year and I would never exclude her on purpose! :( It also dawned on me when writting my last post about our daycare birthday parties!

Live and learn, I guess. I know that my boys wouldn't care, they are older. We just do a special dinner or what have you, and have their party with buddies. My daughter, though, we have done the cupcakes-with-the-group thing.
And I have not yet attended a social event hosted by dc parents. I was invited to a christening, but did not go because I was gigantically pregnant and bowed out. LoL.
I think one of the little guys that just left care (mat leave) will be having his bday party soon, and mom mentioned an invite. I will cross that bridge if it comes up. I adore his mom, and they are not in care anymore so.... Hmmm.
