I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"I have had my daughter with Maxine at Mrs Dollings Family Daycare for a year now and we couldn't be happier with the care she provides my child. Maxine comes highly recommended from Parkcrest Preschool and now we know why! From the moment we met her there was an immediate sense of warmth and genuine care for the children. It feels like we are leaving our child with family, and that brings us so much comfort. She is very attentive and communicates any concerns with us, no matter how minor they may seem, and we appreciate this tremendously! She is very accommodating when it comes to my child's meals, and my daughter is a fussy eater! My daughter comes home singing songs and telling us exciting stories from their daily walks and visits to the park. When I keep my daughter home when she is ill, Maxine will call in the evening or on the weekend to check up on her and see how she is feeling, she goes above and beyond and has genuine concern for my child. Maxine makes the children feel very special on their birthdays and for the holidays, always having a way to celebrate them or do a special craft.
I would recommend Maxine to anyone and I am so glad my daughter will be with her until she enters kindergarten in 2023 :)"

I met with this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"Contacted Maxine Dollings on Thursday to arrange for a tour at her daycare. Both parties agreed for the following Thursday. However, we received a call from Maxine on Monday that the spot was taken by someone who visited on Sunday and paid for the deposit. It is a principal matter where we feel Maxine should have the decency to contact us first before eagerly accepting someone else's deposit on Sunday (when we were the first to contact her before the other person, and that she agreed for us to view her place on Thursday). We are just relieved that we did not end up sending our kid to her way if that is how someone breaks their word."

"I am sorry that you were upset that someone else got the space before you did, but it has always been first come first serve with a deposit. The lady that came Sunday could only come then, as they were from out of town and could not come to meet until a month later from moving, I tried to explain but you hung up on me, sorry. I offered to help you find another daycare and I am happy that you did find one. Sad about what happened with first person to come with deposit but that is how it works in daycare. Hope for only the best for you and your family. I have great relationships with all my parents, so sorry you were upset .This saddens me because I have served my community and families for 21 years and never a negative review, so sad."

We are so happy we found this wonderful woman. I love seeing my kid happily run in her home. She is the kindest lady. She loves kids and takes them to the park. "I was one of the children that Mrs. Dolling took care of for over eight years. My parents placed me there when I four years old, and was there until I started high school. She is a wonderful caretaker, she fed healthy food and when the weather was nice she would take us outside to a nearby park. She goes above and beyond, and was a wonderful part of my younger life. Even after I was old enough to take care of myself, I still go back to visit her."

"I am extremely lucky to come across with this daycare. My children went to this daycare until they are in Kindergarten (almost 4 years), then they changed schools therefore we sadly had to change daycares.

A very loving environment, age-appropriate French and English language time, circle time, very nutritious and quality food including breakfast + lunch + snacks, play ground time, tons of arts… As a fussy parent as I am, I don’t ever remember being worried about what my children are up to when they were under Maxine’s care. Well fed, well stimulated, well taken care of, and well educated in terms of manners, skills, and language is all I can say. Oh, I also loved to pick my girl up with cute piggy tails when I drop her off with a messy hair!

She is a real gem to come across to, especially among all other money-oriented daycares. As a parent, I can feel that she truly cares for all the children under her care and nothing beats that!"

"My daughter is going to this daycare since she was 2 - and now she is 5! she Loves going there and I even get her admitted in ParkCrest school so that she could continue with this daycare :)

The owner/manager is a very caring lady and provides nutritional food for the kids; she is my daughter's Emergency contact at the school"
