I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"There is little to add to the previous reviewer's comments with which my husband and I completely agree.
My 18 month-old son Adam has been in Shannon's care since he was 12 months old. The transition could not have been easier thanks to Shannon's loving, caring, patient and flexible nature. It's been a second home for him since day one, and her own children are now like siblings to him.
We never have to worry about him lacking of anything while in her care. He is provided with the right balance of free and educative, indoor and outdoor play, including some arts and crafts, varied, nutritious and un-processed meals, a very clean and healthy environnement, etc. As Adam is only learning Polish and French at home, it's been a great opportunity for him to learn English as well. We never felt that he was at a disadvantage, or felt intimidated by it.
In sum, Adam is thriving in great part thanks to his good experience at daycare. We cannot thank Shannon enough for being such a great caregiver to our son."

I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"My 29 mth old daughter is currently in the care of this wonderful home daycare. She goes to "school" happy and comes home with a big bright smile on her face every day. Shannon is cheerful, flexible and very patient with the children. She has plenty of activities for them to do daily including a fun and educational curriculum for the older kids (2+) and outdoor time every single day. There is a park a stone throw's away. Her house is well kept and she keep the kids organized, on schedule and in a routine that has really seen my daughter flourish and remain very well behaved, socialized and having fun. Crafts are done regularly and it's so fun to have my daughter come home with special occasion treats and decor for the home. She provides daily updates and sometimes pictures of the kids using an app so I feel connected to what is going on regularly. There is even a monthly calendar so that we know what to expect in advance. Shannon cooks healthy home made meals for the kids' lunch and provides 2 snacks daily. This is a small intimate home daycare that really feels like a 2nd home for my daughter and our family. I have no problem recommending Downtown Daycare."
