"My daughter attended Teresa's daycare for 2 weeks while her primary daycare provider was on holidays.
We had an initial visit with her. She received my whole family with open arms and we spent a good 1.5 at her house visiting her daycare while my kids play in her backyard and with her toys.
My daughter came home every day happy and cheerful. She liked to tell me the parks they have visited as well as the dress up time and craft they did during the day.
I am very grateful and happy that Teresa coukld accommodate my daughter for those 2 .weeks
Our experience with her daycare has been very positive."

"My daughter has been in Teresa's care for a couple years now. She loves to go there. All the child are always happy to be there. They go on walks and to the park daily. She has a great daily, healthy food plan that all the kids seem to enjoy. My daughter and I will be sad to leave in the fall when she will be going to school."

"I strongly recommend Teresa’s daycare. Her house has lot of natural light and a great space for kids to play; her backyard is beautiful with trees and toys to entertain our little ones; and Teresa is great with kids, she is always playing and singing with them, she provides health food and snacks, and every day she brings them outside. My daughter was only 7 months old when she went to Teresa’s daycare and I am sure it was the best choice; Teresa adjusted her routine so my daughter was able to take a nap in the morning and another in the afternoon, and Teresa was great teaching her how to go down the stairs and practicing walking. It is notable she loves her work and take care of her kids with passion. It would a pleasure to answer any question you may have."

"Our son started attending Little Stars Daycare in September 2014 and we couldn't be happier. Teresa is a loving and caring provider who has become a very important person in our lives. Our son adores her and asks every morning if he's going to see Teresa that day. I have a hard time getting him to leave when I pick him up in the afternoon. She is very attentive to their needs, plays lots of music and games with them, and when weather permits, is out with them all the time. Often times I will show up
and see Teresa and the kids jumping around, singing, laughing and playing. Teresa also takes her job very seriously. The safety and well-being of the kids is her primary concern. The entire main level of the house is dedicated to the kids, and it's bright and open and welcoming. We are 100% happy with Teresa and the care she provides for our son. We are so lucky to have her. I am happy to answer any questions you may have if you need more information."

"My daughter Emma has been with Teresa for over a month now and I have nothing but great things to say about Teresa. She has made this difficult transition going back to work much easier for me as I know my daughter is in great hands. Her house is adorable, it's dedicated to the kids on the main level, they do all kinds of activities indoor and out and feeds them so well all day. As soon as we met Teresa in our interview, Ryan and I knew she was best for Emma, shes so motherly :) Teresa has a background in social work which is great because she understands child behaviour. My niece Cadence was with Teresa for 3 years or so and was very in love with her! Highly recommend Teresa for your child/children."

"Our son has been in Teresa's care for almost 6 months now, and we couldn't be happier with her as our daycare provider. Teresa is someone who genuinely cares about the well-being of her little charges, and it shows in every aspect of how she runs her daycare. Hers is a main-floor daycare that's full of natural light, games, toys, and books, and that truly feels like a home away from home for our little boy. In Teresa's care, his days are filled with singing, dancing, reading, educational activities, nutritious food, walks around the neighbourhood, and play in the park and in her beautiful, safe, and peaceful backyard. Teresa is always well-organized and eager to communicate about our son's day and let us know anything that she needs from us well in advance. Our son is always looking forward to coming to play at Teresa's with his friends. With her, we are confident that he is in good hands, and we highly recommend her."

"Our daughter has been in Teresa's care for a year now. As soon as we met her, we knew that she would be a wonderful caregiver for our daughter. She is warm and welcoming and loves the kids in her daycare. She is a daycare provider, not because she has to be, but because she loves kids and wants to be. This is very apparent! The whole main-floor of her home is dedicated to the daycare, giving the kids lots of learning and play space.

Teresa gives the kids a structured day complete with circle time, learning and indoor & outdoor play. Our daughter has thrived in her environment and absolutely loves going to Teresa's.

"I can't say enough about how great Teresa is, and we've had a great experience with her. Our daughter has been going to her for the last year and she loves it. We visited a lot of home daycares and we knew we wanted to go with Teresa at Little STARS right away after meeting her. The entire first floor is dedicated to the daycare so the kids get lots of natural light, they spend a lot of time outdoors both in her fenced yard, going for walks or to the nearby park. Teresa is great with the kids, her walls are full of art and learning materials, there are lots of books which she refreshes often with new ones from the library. She teaches them songs, colours, animals, the weather and so much more at an age appropriate level. She puts together great snacks and meals and has a wonderful philosophy on taking care of multiple kids. I would definitely recommend her!"

"Our son currently attends Little Stars daycare, and we are extremely happy with the care he receives there. Teresa is a wonderful caregiver, and is always so caring and attentive with the children. We looked at several home daycares, and none of them impressed us as much as Little Stars. The main level of the house is dedicated to the children's play area, and is very bright and welcoming. There are lots of different toys and books for the children to play with, as well as a beautiful fenced backyard for them to enjoy. We have been very impressed with Teresa's schedule and activities, and our son is thriving in the environment that she provides.

We cannot say enough good things about Teresa and Little Stars, she has made the transition back to work smooth and worry-free."

"We are extremely happy that we chose Teresa to take care of our son, Aleks. He has been with little STARS Home daycare for more than 6 months We visited a number of public daycares and home daycare providers but none of them impressed us with the passion, commitment and true love to kids that Teresa shows. Her daycare is perfectly set to accommodate all the needs of kids from different ages.

The indoor space is great size (complete main floor and a bedroom on the second floor), immaculate, filled with daylight and rich of books, leisure and educational toys. She also offers a customized snack and lunch space to accommodate all kids at the same time to socialize them during snack/lunch time. Another great feature of Teresa’s daycare is the nicely organized outdoor space where the kids really enjoy and spend a lot of time outside whenever weather permits.

She really gives the best of herself to help the development of good communication, social and artistic skills of our 19-month-old son and the rest of the kids under her custody. She offers excellent educational activities to develop their literacy, motor functions and overall intellectual capability.

Teresa is not only an exceptional professional but also a wonderful person with a very big heart. She saved the life of our son when he had a seizure at her premises; she did not hesitate to provide first aid immediately, keep him in consciousness and without delay to request further help from paramedics.

She lives through each happy or sad moment of the kids and always tries to keep a positive spirit in the group. Our son loves going to Teresa’s little STARS Home childcare. He starts his day there happy with a big smile. We trust our son is in very good hands.

If you look for a home away from home for your child you should take the opportunity to meet Teresa and visit her little STARS Home childcare."

"Like most parents we interviewed a large number of caregivers prior to choosing Little STARS Home ChildCare. Teresa's environment and demour was a class above those we had considered. Our daughter has been with Little Stars Daycare now for 6 months and we could not be happier with the care she recieves and can not recommend Teresa enough.

Teresa's commitment to childhood development and understanding the different stages among similarly aged children was an important factor in our decision. She is an excellent mediator in helping the children understand and cope with sharing and offers strong structure and routine.

It is evident that she really enjoys her choosen profession. If you are looking for a caregiver who cares about your child and thier development you have found it with Little STARS Home childcare.

The environment is a positive, open, fun, learning environment where my daughter has been advancing even "blossoming". Activities include trips to the park, circle stories and songs, weather updates, counting, colours and so much more.

Also, the food provided is healthy, fresh food which ensures a good learning environment.

My daughter is so excited to go in the morning to be with Teresa and the other wonderful children in the home.

"Our daughter has been with Teresa for over a year now and LOVES going - so much that she never wants to come home at the end of the day!

One huge positive thing for us was that the playroom is on the main level - making it nice and bright. Days are structured a bit which is nice - and meals are extremely healthy but the kids still like them: our daughter always refuses to eat breakfast since she loves the food at Teresa's so much more than at home! :)

The kids spend lots of time outside - both in the super-equipped & fenced backyard, as well as the park right across the street... She does many different sorts of activities indoors as well - crafts, music, and many learning activities (letters, weather, phonetics...).

We recently finished potty training and Teresa was SOOO helpful - as first-time parents we really weren't sure what to expect - and she was patient and extremely good with our child (and us!) - making it a positive experience for all of us. I also feel her background as a social worker is very helpful as she is very knowledgeable when it comes to children's behaviors.

After a not-so-great experience with our first caregiver, we were apprehensive when we had to find another after only a few months - we interviewed 13 people before finding Teresa - and we knew in 5 minutes she was perfect for us!"

"Rating: 4 out of 4

One thing that we are all looking for is a safe place for our child to go to when not in our care. We have been using Teresa over several months now and I can honestly say that our son has had the best care and attention that anyone could give him.

When you enter her home you can instantly see that she has dedicated her whole first floor to the daycare. Safety is one of her first most concerns, she has adequately blocked off areas of concern and has cleared away all hazardous objects so your child may explore freely while still being watch at all times. She provides the children with very wholesome snacks and lunches and provides 2 different weekly meal menus that are visible upon entry of her home. I personally enjoy seeing what my son will be eating for lunch and snack times. Included with the weekly menu you will find in her entrance way all of her certifications allowing you to see that she has been trained in such programs as St. John’s Ambulance First Aid Training. She wants everyone who trusts her with their child to be assured that they have all information possible that she has many qualifications to ensure your child receives only the best of care.

For activities, you’ll be amazed to learn that she gives every child the ability to explore with crafts designed for their age, group activities such as story telling and sing-a-longs every afternoon. They spend time outdoors whether it is with the snow or the leaves, walking, exploring or just having fun sliding down a man made hill made out of snow. They try to at least twice a week visit a larger daycare center that is only a 5 minute walk away. Your child is able to participate in large group activities and interact with other children of all ages. We have seen amazing changes in our son and have noticed how all these activities are encouraging his development in a safe and enjoyable way.

Again, if you are looking for a safe place for your child to go during the day when they are not in your hands of care, you can believe me when I say “She has the love of a mother and the care of new parent.” She really has thought of everything and I can promise you that she leaves nothing to chance she really has been a blessing for us and our son and we will continue to use her services for many more months to come.

"I visited Teresa’s home day-care as I was looking for a before/afterschool care for my daughter.

I have very positive impression. Teresa is knowledgeable, educated (she is a social worker and a mother), and very organized lady who seems to be loving and caring for little kids.

Her ‘day care’ is very clean and organized, have lots of different equipments for kids to use (toys, art work equipment, etc.). The day in the center seems to be very structured with trips to parks and play groups (I personally like community play groups; it is a good opportunity for kids to develop different skills).

You can review the lunch menu, Teresa’s certificates and the whole household’s security check.

If I needed full time day care for my baby or little one, I would not hesitate a minute. (It did not work for us since I was looking for afterschool care and due to commute concerns)"
