"If you are looking for a home away from home for your little one...then Ruth Cooke (and Family) is your answer!! As a Mother herself, she knows a thing or two (or three) about raising children and will care for yours like one of her own. We were so fortunate to find Ruth and our Son loves her like an Aunt. Most mornings he toddles in like he owns the place, and I'm lucky if he stops to wave goodbye before disappearing around the corner. When I pick him up at the end of the day, the smile on his face says it all. Ruth has a beautiful, inviting home - with a playroom that will delight any child. And there always seems to be something yummy cooking on the stove!! Choosing Ruth to care for our Son was the easiest decision...and leaving her was the hardest!! We'll miss you Ruth!"

"Our 4 year old daughter was lucky enough to spend last year with the Cooke's. She absolutely adored heading to daycare every morning. We especially loved that the whole family took part in her care and that we always knew that she was in the best hands. Any family would be lucky to have their children in the care of Cooke's Cozy Corner! We miss having them as a part of our family."

"Our son has been with Ruth for two years and he loves every day there. I love that Ruth takes the time to tell us how his day went.

She has been great with meeting his allergy needs. She has educated herself and family about nut allergies.

"Our 4 year old daughter has been going to Cooke's Cozy day care for the last five months. We were new to the Stittsville area and were extremely fortuate to have found care in Ruth's home. Our daugther is always excited to go to daycare, and is always in a happy mood when we pick her up. I love how Ruth always does that little bit extra... like personalizing activities for her with what she likes and is interested in, it shows she really cares. She has a lovely home and lots of space to play, I would recommend her to anyone!!"

"I used this daycare part-time with my almost 2 year old daughter. I am giving Cooke's Cozy Corner a +4 and here's why!

Ruth has bee fantastic with my daughter, my daughter has always been in a great mood every time I pick her up. I also really liked the fact that Ruth always talk to me about how my daughter did each day.

Ruth's house is great as well, with a great backyard for the kids to play in as well as a great space inside.

I definitely recommend her lovely daycare!"

"If I could, I'd give Ruth an even higher rating. My husband and I feel very blessed to have found Cooke's Cozy Corner Daycare, and are even more blessed that Ruth took us on!

Our daughter started gong to daycare in January 2008 (then 1 year old) when I had to go back to work. Of course, like all parents, we were nervous about leaving our child with someone else; however, after meeting with Ruth three times before our daughter commenced care we were fully at ease.

Ruth does provide a home away from home. Our daughter wants to stay and play when we pick her up at the end of the day and she's always excited to see Ruth and the other children when we bring her in the morning. We know that our daughter is in the best of hands while we are not with her, that is a dream come true for us.

Not only does our daughter have fun at daycare, she also learns so much! We cannot get over how quickly she has advanced after only being with Ruth for 5 months. It truly is incredible.

It amazes me how in-tune Ruth is with children, she has a heart for this business and it shows.
