"Barbara is amazing! I can happily say that being a first time mom, she made it so easy for me to feel at ease with the transition to daycare. My daughter Amy has learned so much from Barbara. Every day she comes home with such an immaculate vocabulary and stories about how much fun she had.

Barbara is very loving and provides the best care for the kids at her daycare. She also does awesome activities, including yoga!! :)

You'll love her."

"We've had two kids go to Barbara now. The other four kids she takes care of also have all had brothers or sisters go there previously, as well. It says a lot if parents keep going back to her!

Barbara adores all of the kids and they feel the same way about her. I am so happy that they got the chance to spend so much time with her and the other kids. They learned so many new words, songs, good manners, and other social skills. Barbara does a lot of arts and crafts with the kids and, weather permitting, takes them to the park, play groups or outside to play.

I can't imagine that anybody could regret choosing Barbara as a daycare provider."

"We were comfortable with Barbara from the moment we met! She treats the kids as if they were her own, she provides a loving family environment for the children to thrive in. She is an exceptional ECE getting to know each child's likes, dislikes and interests and constantly embedding those into their everyday. Her days are filled with a variety of play based learning activities catered to each child's stage of development; there are theme weeks, and special days. At Barbara's house, everyday is an adventure! She teaches the children letters, numbers, colors, and social skills. Our son left her care extremely well prepared for kindergarten. Barbara truly has become an extended part of our family, our son still goes to visit her on occasion after school. Barbara's Happy Face Tots was the best choice for our son!"

"Happy Face Tots, could not be more aptly named. Our son has thrived since day one. At 18 months of age our little guy started daycare with Barbara integrating him into the peer group with ease. Seven months later we can say without any hesitation that Happy Face Tots is the best place for our son, in fact, a second home. His developmental skills have flourished with a variety of activities at daycare; including and not limited to arts & crafts, indoor & outdoor play, yoga, song, dance, sensory play and many others. Barbara’s patience, creativity and love are endless. We consider ourselves fortunate everyday for having Barbara in our lives and we’ll send our second son to Happy Face Tots when the time comes. This daycare is truly is a marvellous place and the best decision we ever made."

"Barbara provided childcare for our youngest daughter for 3 years. She is by far the best childcare provider we have ever hired and I would highly recommend her to anyone. Barbara provides a safe, nurturing and creative environment with plenty of outdoor activities. She will work with the needs of your child individually to ensure a positive experience. Barbara is extremely patient, loving and kind.
We have maintained a relationship with Barb as well as other families in her care even after my daughter started going to school.
Barbara's daycare was our daughter's home-away-from-home and her experience there was nothing but exceptional."

"As a mother who has had three children in Barbara's care, from the time that they were wee babes to their first day of Junior Kindergarten, I can truly say that Barbara is a childcare provider like no other. Barbara is gifted with a light, love, and happiness that shines through to the children she cares for.
Barbara's energetic care is enriching and fulfills the needs of children of all ages and abilities. Barbara embraces and celebrates the differences of each child. The children learn through play, art, story and drama in an environment of encouragement and compassion. It is simply astounding to me, on a daily basis, over the course of six years, the consistency of outstanding care each of my children, so different in personality, have received in Barbara's care. They always come home happy and healthy, boasting of their days' excitement. The diversity, variety, and creativity of the activities is amazing. The snacks provided are wholesome and nourishing. I have come to pick up my children at different times throughout the day and no matter the time, sounds of joy, song, and play resonate through Happy Face Tots.
I cannot credit Barbara enough for the positive impact she has had on the lives of my children. I say with solid confidence that she is a cornerstone of development and wellbeing for my kids. I have nothing but respect, love and admiration for Barbara and cannot recommend her highly enough. Any child, indeed family, would be fortunate to have Barbara care for their precious little ones."

"Our daughter attended Barbara's daycare for three years, from the age of 1 to 4. She loved Barbara and still reminisces about daycare more than a year after leaving to start school! Because Barbara provides such wonderful care, the group of children enrolled with our daughter was stable for years and she made strong friendships that still exist, even though all the children attend different schools now.

Barbara is warm and loving with the children while still teaching them rules and boundaries for themselves and others. The home environment and the small group is comfortable for the children and Barbara adjusts her program to suit the ages and interests of the children in her care.

Our second daughter will be starting Barbara's daycare in 2014 so she can have the same rich experience as her sister, and she will be enrolled with siblings of other children our older daughter was with. That, in itself, speaks volumes for Barbara's care!"
