If you think a dck has something contagious you can ask them to take him to a dr and they need to get a drs note in order to be readmitted to daycare.
I just went through something similar and I am still seething!

If you don't mind, could you give me a little more information? What were the little one's symptoms, how did you go about asking for the dr's note?
