You've already said that the business is running you
If you can afford to let them know that you've changed your hours effective x date ( I think 2 weeks is fair ) and if they leave due to it, you've given them time and you only have a few more weeks to do it. Why are you bringing on another at that time when I remember reading your past posts that your getting burned out

Oh no, I'm sorry... I don't think i was clear. I have a current ft that is going down to PT in November. She's a 7am start, once she goes down to PT she'll be an 8am start. So I'm going to wait until she goes down to PT to change my hours but I'm going to give notice to the 6am start this week.

No, I'm not taking anyone else on at this point.

If the 6am start leaves that's fine. She's only a few days a week and before after school. No real loss. I could replace with a new before after with reasonable hours no problem around here.

I'm burnt out because I've taken on too much at once. So, I'm changing that. Getting rid of the 6am is going to be a huge thing! I really can't wait... but I'm not looking forward to the conversation.

A few tips...

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
