wow, I thought it was a once ever thing? I guess it would be like any other virus, the strain can be dif, maybe stronger...or perhaps it depends on your immune system at time of contact. maybe if you have a cold already and your immune system is down, you will be more likely to pick up. Yuck. Had a Dr appt yesterday and had to bring my kids with me, while in the waiting room a little girl came in with what looked like the pox all over her face and hands, her Mom allowed her to go over to the toys and play!!!!!!! I told my kids to have their hands in their laps the entire time. Sure enough, as soon as the nurses saw them in the wait room, they called them back ahead of everyone else, must have been highly contagious. Thanks to that Mom for letting her kids play with the toys in the wait room. Spread on woman! (not sure why there are toys in a dr office wait room anyway)

Yeah...actually I have noticed in the past couple of years that they have removed all the toys from doctor's waitingrooms. I remember when my oldest was little, our doctor had an entire toyroom/germ breading ground! I don't even like my kids to touch the magazines in those places! Not that it does any good...we get sick anyway...in fact I am closed today for a sick day for me and my daughter....which is why I am on this forum at this time of day!

A few tips...

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
