I was sick with a really bad cold for a month and FINALLY was able to start exercising again. I was totally in cope mode, everyone including myself had a horrible cough and it was really sucky to stop exercising on my treadmill because I couldn't do anything without coughing (one of my dck even got pneumonia so bad she was hospitalized). But I was back on the treadmill last night for the first time and it was awesome. I have also started doing yoga again with the kids in the morning, YouTube has awesome kids yoga videos to follow.
But I also wanted to throw the advice out there that the Mediterranean style diet has been proven to be incredibly healthy and those that follow it in the long term have been shown to have little or no chronic illnesses in old age. It isn't necessarily a weight loss plan, but is a lifestyle choice that makes for a healthy heart and body. I am sure many of you heard about it on the news.
